Dec. 25, 2012: Details of Science Council of Japan Symposium published in Gakujutsu no Doukou (Science Trends).

The December 2012 issue of the Gijutsu no Doukou (Technology Trends) magazine published by the Science Council of Japan reported details of the public symposium entitled “Towards Dramatic Advances in Structure Life Science Based Around Cutting-Edge Interdisciplinarity” held in the Science Council of Japan Auditorium on January 9, 2012.
Koichi Tanaka, the core researcher on this project, outlined the achievements of the FIRST Project in a presentation and also participated in the panel discussion “What Should We Do to Open up the Future of New Structure Life Sciences,” which included a debate about the development of young researchers.
