- An acronym of our project objective “Mass Spectrometry for Drug Discovery and Diagnostics.”
- MS repeated three times (MS to the power of 3), which is indispensable for the analysis of post-translational modifications, combined with the three-dimensional (“3d”) nature of the results of mass spectrometry.
