Jan. 11, 2012: Progress of drug discovery in the treatment of dementia introduced in Nikkei Sangyo Shimbun.

 Visiting Professor Hachiro Sugimoto, one of the co-sponsors of this project, a Kyoto University: Pharmaeight venture, aims to start drug discovery clinical trials in the search for a cure for dementia. A description of this effort was published in “The Future Created by Technology” series of the Nikkei Sangyo Shimbun on January 10.
 Professor Sugimoto is also well known for his development of the world-famous Aricept drug for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease while at Eisai Co., Ltd.
