In the Keizai Kyoshitsu (Economics Classroom) section of the June 1 morning issue of the Nikkei Shimbun, Koichi Tanaka, the core researcher on this project, described the role and future potential of science and technology in post-disaster Japan. He introduced interdisciplinary possibilities, using examples of mass spectrometry research.
