”A Forum with a Nobel Laureate – A Message to the Next Generation” was held on October 28, 2010, at the College of Engineering of Nihon University in Fukushima, sponsored by Yomiuri Shimbun and Fukushima Minyu Shimbun. About 550 students and citizens attended the forum.
Koichi Tanaka made a keynote speech on the theme of “Nurturing Young Researchers,” and joined a panel discussion attended by Koichi Kitazawa, President of Japan Science and Technology Agency; Osamu Kumagai, Sony SVP; and Koji Kato, Professor at Nihon University.
