Oct. 13, 2010: Koichi Tanaka lectured at Tohoku University as part of an inter-disciplinary research program.

 Koichi Tanaka gave an intensive lecture course at Tohoku University as part of the university’s inter-disciplinary research program.

 Under the title “What Environment Enables Inter-Disciplinary Research? – An Example from Mass Spectrometer Development,” he described how the Japanese culture and research climate have positively influenced his research and gave examples of creative developments born out of inter-disciplinary research.
